A dream come true: 3 Years in the making

A short time ago, a life long dream of mine: I got a pilot’s license. It took me three years to get it and let me tell you, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. After getting my license, I took a Cessna from Craig Airfield in Jacksonville to Jekyll Island, GA. There’s a small airstrip on the island and one of the nicest FBO managers you’ll ever meet. You can rent an electric buggy there (they give a discount to pilots) and explore the island. Even if you don’t fly, stop in and say hello.
